Mammals of the Borneo rainforest
Large animals in the Borneo Rainforest include Borneo Elephants and the Sumatran rhinoceros. Some of the carnivores include Leopard cats, Flat-headed Bay cats, Marbled cats, Bornean Clouded Leopards, Collared mongoose, Hose's mongoose, and Short-tailed mongoose
The most famous and unique mammals of Borneo rainforests are of course, Orangutans. They are only found on Borneo Island and on the northern parts of neighboring Sumatra island. They aren't found anywhere else in the world.

Critically Endangered Rhinos
In the northeast corner of Borneo, lives the eastern Sumatran rhinoceros. These are the most critical endangered rhino species in the world. People hunt Rhino's for their horn, which is used as a prized ingredient in traditional Asian medicines.

This sunda clouded leopard is the largest feline in the Borneo. They can weigh up to 55lbs but are very shy. They spend most of their day climbing trees and hunting prey. They hunt deer, pigs, monkeys, and fish.

Proboscis monkeys : You'll know one when you see one. You can recognize them by their big nose and fat belly. Most eat fruit and leaves, yet with such a small diet their stomach makes up 1/4 of their weight. They can weigh anywhere from 12-23 pounds.
